My Valentines Wreath and Growth Chart

Here are some of the things I have been working on lately.

This last one still needs help.  1.  I need to figure out how to put Katelyn's name on the top.  Anyone have a cricket or stencils?  2. I think it is way too cute to put my handwriting on, so I have been trying to think of something I could glue on and write on as a marker.  Any ideas?

Christmas Presents

 Matching bracelets for Katelyn and her cousin Savanna.  I finally learned how to make them!  It took a little trial and error, but we are having a lot of fun with them now.

Curtain Drama

 

I have curtain drama.  I have tried to buy curtains three times in the last 6 months, and every time there has been some mishap.  Today I ordered THE curtains.  They were perfect.  2 hours later, I got a phone call informing me that line had been discontinued!!!  (Pulling out hair)

These are EXACTLY what I want.  The sticking point for these?  They are about $200 over budget.  Why can't anyone just make some made to measure curtains out of a nice linen, that are lined instead of all of this velvet, satin, silk, sheer stuff.  AND make them affordable?

I may never have curtains.
