Curtain Drama

 

I have curtain drama.  I have tried to buy curtains three times in the last 6 months, and every time there has been some mishap.  Today I ordered THE curtains.  They were perfect.  2 hours later, I got a phone call informing me that line had been discontinued!!!  (Pulling out hair)

These are EXACTLY what I want.  The sticking point for these?  They are about $200 over budget.  Why can't anyone just make some made to measure curtains out of a nice linen, that are lined instead of all of this velvet, satin, silk, sheer stuff.  AND make them affordable?

I may never have curtains.

    if you were going to pay 200 over budget for them... will you just pay me to make them :)

    Have you looked at IKEA? I bought some thicker curtains there that you adjust the length. The only problem would be the color selection is pretty limited. Good luck :)
